Measurements: Approximately 10.2 inches at widest point; 10.6 inches high and 5.5 inches deep. Shoulder strap drop is approximately 15.7 inches.
Behind the Brand: Founded in 1854, Louis Vuitton Malletier is the French fashion house known around the world. The first Louis Vuitton piece was the flat-surface trunk, designed by Mr. Vuitton himself as a practical alternative to heavier, round-top trunks. Unlike other models, the Vuitton trunk could be conveniently stacked for travel. Today, the Louis Vuitton brand encompasses a wide range of luxury products, including luggage, handbags, and ready-to-wear. The brand is poised to maintain its status as a high fashion leader and innovator: In November 2013, Louis Vuitton announced Nicolas Ghesquiere (formerly of Balenciaga) as the company's new artistic director for women's collections.
Trivia: Vuitton introduced epi leather in the mid-1980s. The Sac D'epaule is a rare Vuitton piece -- the company no longer produces this bag.
